Special Preliminary Event for the Obermann Symposium "Cultivating Rurality: Building Community around Rural Research."
This lecture, co-sponsored by the UI Carver College of Medicine, is designed for a non-clinical audience and will be open to the public. Katy B. Kozhimannil is a Distinguished McKnight University Professor and Co-Director of the University of Minnesota Rural Health Research Center and the University of Minnesota Rural Health Program.
The lecture will take place in Pediatric Auditorium, 2415 Colloton Pavilion (JCP), 200 Hawkins Drive, University of Iowa Health Care, Iowa City, and will also be livestreamed.

Park in UIHC Ramp 2.
Take the parking ramp’s elevator to Level G.
Exit the elevator and take a left to the Children’s Hospital’s Information Desk.
Stop at this desk to receive a name tag and entrance into the hospital.
Go straight through 2 sets of glass doors.
You will see a 2nd information desk and Elevator I.
Take Elevator I up to the 2nd Floor.
Turn right and follow this hall into the Colloton Pavilion.
Just before you get to Elevator F, the Conference Center is on your left.
Go through these glass doors and follow the hallway to the end.
Turn right and the auditorium, #2415, is on your left.
When leaving the parking ramp, be sure to use the South exit.
